Join us for a special edition of the Cafe Shambhala! This evening we'll be having a Solstice celebration with a Cacao Ceremony!

This evening at Cafe Shambhala, we'll celebrate the winter solstice with a cacao ceremony, led by visiting teacher, Lari Antunes!

Cacao ceremonies are a healing ritual used for spiritual and medicinal purposes, particularly among Indigenous cultures of Central and South America. Pure cacao is believed to have a deep connection to the heart and is consumed to open the heart chakra, promote emotional healing, and enhance mindfulness.  This ceremony aims to increase vitality, inner awakening, creative connection, uplifting mood, opening heart and manifesting many other spiritual intentions. This ritual is a communal activity performed within a sacred space, sometimes accompanied by music, chanting, or guided meditation, with the goal of fostering unity and healing, and a sense of emotional release to support overall well-being.

Lari Antunes is a Brazilian artist who travels the world, sharing her voice and therapeutic work. She is a psychologist, music therapist, singer, energy reader and ceremony facilitator, guiding meditations with natural medicines like cacao. Through her voice, singing, and gentle, intuitive guidance, Lari supports individuals in reconnecting with their inner selves and restoring balance through sound.
