Group meditation practice with a talk and discussion

Join us on this special occasion as we continue the celebration of the lunar calendar new year!  We'll begin with a meditation practice session, followed by a replay of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche’s annual address, via internet web-cast.

Each year on Shambhala Day, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche addresses the worldwide Shambhala community through an online hook-up, which includes centres and groups from six continents and over thirty countries around the world.  After the talk there is ample opportunity for interaction, questions and discussion.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meditate in a supportive group setting, learn how to apply the principles of meditation to everyday life, and to meet and mingle with fellow practitioners! We welcome both newcomers and familiar faces. If it's your first time (and you'd like to recieve meditataion instuctions), please arrive a few minutes early, so you don't miss it.  No previous experience necessary.

This is a drop-in class; no registration or fee is required; donations are appreciated.
